01
A 1950s ranch in Historic Capitol Hill with failing wood siding and a rotting base.
What we do: We strip the wood, repair the framing, and install brick veneer on the lower wall with fiber cement above. The transition is flashed and the base is masonry, so splash-back is no longer a problem.
→ The house reads as a brick ranch from the street, and the base of the wall stops rotting every few years.
02
A new build in Deep Deuce that needs an exterior with more presence than panel siding.
What we do: We install stone veneer on the front facade and entry columns, with a brick water table wrapping the base. The upper walls stay panel for budget, and the stone carries the visual weight.
→ The home appraises higher and photographs like a custom build, at a fraction of full masonry cost.
03
A Bricktown home hit by hail that punched through the vinyl on two walls.
What we do: We document the damage for the insurance claim, strip the failed panels, repair the sheathing, and install stone veneer over a new drainage plane with fresh flashing and weep holes.
→ The claim covers the rebuild, and the new wall has survived two more hail seasons without a mark.
04
An Uptown 23rd home with a faded, warped vinyl wall that has been repainted twice.
What we do: We replace the vinyl with brick and stone siding on the front and sides, keeping the existing soffit and fascia. Insulation board goes behind the veneer to raise the wall R-value.
→ No more repainting, better summer performance on the west wall, and a facade that finally matches the rest of the block.
